Khuzestan has some of the oldest sites in Iran, and most of them lie within a short drive of each other. Susa and its French-built castle stand beside the Tomb of Daniel with its ribbed conical roof. Haft Tappeh is nearby, and in Dezful an old bridge still crosses the river.<\/p>\n
