The best way to reach the Lut Desert is to travel to Kerman<\/a> and then proceed to Shahdad<\/a>. Since there are no direct flights or trains to Shahdad<\/strong>, you’ll need to start your journey in Kerman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overland trip from Tehran<\/a><\/strong> to Shahdad takes about 10 hours. From Shahdad, a rough 45-kilometer drive lasting around two hours will take you to the beginning of the Kalouts<\/a> area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
