According to this report, the negotiations with Austrian Airlines regarding a new Vienna \u2013 Shiraz route has recently been started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Austrian Airlines had earlier expressed its interest in Shiraz when the airline announced the new Isfahan<\/a> service in November 2015\u2019, the report added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Austrian Airlines<\/a> is in talks with Shiraz International Airport\u2019s officials to start operating a direct flight to Shiraz in the near future, AviationIran website reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shiraz becomes Austrian Airlines\u2019 third destination in Iran, joining Tehran<\/a> and Isfahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On September 4, Austrian Airlines launched a three times weekly service from Vienna to the Iranian commercial centre of Isfahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Austrian Airlines will fly to Isfahan the entire year. The duration of the journey from Vienna to Isfahan is about 4 hours 40 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Air France and British Airways resumed flying to Iran<\/a> after a several years\u2019 break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will also resume services to Tehran<\/a> from October 30, the airline said earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
