It is a scaffold shaped like a tree leaf. Millions of mourners attend this ceremony during Ashura every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-amir-chakhmaq-square-in-ashura\">Amir Chakhmaq Square in Ashura<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony in <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/khordad-national-uprising\/\" title=\"Khordad National Uprising\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"67615\">Amir Chakhmaq<\/a> starts when the heavy decorated Nakhl is carried on the shoulders of hundreds of male mourners, old or young, symbolising the coffin of Imam Husseinand his martyr companions. But people hold and move it amazingly in harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-sham-e-ghariban\">The Sham-e Ghariban<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Nakhl-Gardani ritual, people continue mourning and listening to the religious sermons until sundown. Ashura, which literally means the \u201cTenth\u201d in Arabic, refers to the tenth day of Muharram.
