It is made of rice flour, and filled with sugar, ground walnuts or hazelnuts, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and spice, fried in hot oil or fat.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>In the northern province of <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/gilan-travel-guide\/\"><strong>Gilan<\/strong><\/a>, the most popular cookie is <strong>Reshteh khoshkar<\/strong> which is made from fried rice paste and is filled with a mixture of nuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You probably won\u2019t be able to find it easily in other cities of Iran, especially in central parts. Also, the process of producing it is so special and is worth watching.
