Part of the \u201cclassic road\u201d to visit Iran, Shiraz is located in the south of the country, in the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/fars-province-in-spring\/\" title=\"Fars Province Awakens: Spring\u2019s Blooming Wonders in Iran\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"134555\">Fars region<\/a>. It\u2019s one of the most delicate cities of Iran, known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/persian-gardens-iranian-architecture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">city of gardens: Eram Garden (Unesco), Shapoori Garden, Naranjestan Qavam Garden, and Jahan Nama Garden<\/a>\u2026 these green spaces make the city particularly beautiful in Spring when roses and other flowers bloom. Around <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/what-is-nowruz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nowruz<\/a>, in early March, the whole city gets wrapped in the scent of the orange blossom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shiraz also is famous for its pleasant and liberal atmosphere, with many <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/the-best-restaurants-and-cafes-in-shiraz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cafes and other places to hang out<\/a>. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For centuries, <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/isfahan-travel-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Isfahan<\/a> has been nicknamed \u201cHalf of the world\u201d by the ancient travellers that wrote about its beauties in their travel books. They indeed considered that Isfahan contains no less than half the beauties of the world! Still today, Isfahan is a true living museum and simply walking in the alleys of the bazaar or on <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/47737-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Naqshe Jahan Square<\/a> is a delight for the eyes. The city is a vitrine of the Safavid\u2019s reign. It was made the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/hegmataneh-the-oldest-capital-city-in-persia\/\" title=\"Hegmataneh, The Oldest Capital City in Persia\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"135119\">capital of Persia<\/a> under Shah Abbas the Great in 1587, who ordered to build most of the architectural wonders the visitors can now admire in Isfahan: palaces, mosques, gardens, bridges\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most famous sightseeings are located in Naqshe Jahan Square, itself a <a href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/iran-world-heritage-sites\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unesco world heritage<\/a>: The Shah Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace and the Bazaar. Because this abode city, whose historic city center is entirely listed as a Unesco world heritage, brings the traveller\u2019s mind to the stories of the 1001 nights. Its small abode streets create an intriguing labyrinth that brings visitors to unsuspected wonders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the many rooftops of the city, where pretty cafes were created, one can admire the breathtaking view over the city and its hundreds of windtowers.
