In the case that they do, it is up to individual travelers to decide how they respond but no proof of marriage is required unless you are Iranian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-regulations\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"regulations\"><\/span>Regulations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Iranian law prohibits <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/surfiran.com\/mag\/iran-evisas\/\" title=\"Iran Eases Tourism with E-Visas\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4832\">unmarried couples<\/a> from living together, which states that people of opposite sex cannot be alone together unless they&#8217;re married or are family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-practical-applications\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"practical-applications\"><\/span>Practical Applications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>But in <strong>practical applications<\/strong> most Iran&nbsp;hotels don&#8217;t enforce <strong>non-Muslim<\/strong> and <strong>non-Iranian<\/strong> the married couples rule.
