Baba Tahir<\/strong> Oryan, a poet, mystic, and famous couplet composer of Iran, lived during the Seljuk period. Baba Tahir<\/a> was known for his frank and direct expression of issues, which is why he was nicknamed “Oryan<\/strong>” (The Naked). The tomb of this great poet is located in the north of the city of Hamedan<\/a>, in Baba Tahir Square. The original tomb of Baba Tahir dates back to the Seljuk era. At that time, an octagonal brick structure was built over Baba Tahir’s tomb, which was destroyed over time. During the Pahlavi era, another building was constructed in the same place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baba Taher, known for his eloquent and profound do-bayti (couplets), is a legendary figure in Persian literature. Living in the 11th century, his poetry, characterized by its simplicity and depth, has touched the hearts of many across generations. His tomb in Hamedan has become a pilgrimage site for lovers of Persian literature and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
