Since ancient times, Lar has been a retreat for various Iranian monarchs due to its refreshing climate. In the past, it was part of the historical <strong>Qasran<\/strong> district, a dependency of <strong>Ray City<\/strong>, and was referred to as &#8220;Lar Qasran.&#8221; However, in 1975, it was officially declared <strong>Lar National Park<\/strong>, gaining significant recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1982, the protection level of the area was reduced, but in 1991, parts of it were re-designated as <strong>Lar National Park<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-flora-and-fauna-of-lar-national-park\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"flora-and-fauna-of-lar-national-park\"><\/span>Flora and Fauna of Lar National Park<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to its climate, <strong>Lar National Park<\/strong> is rich in <strong>biodiversity<\/strong>, featuring various <strong>plant and animal species<\/strong>. Of these, 338 species are permanent residents, while the rest grow seasonally. Notably, about 35 species are native to the Iranian climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These plants include medicinal and vibrant flowers such as thyme, licorice, wild iris, chicory, fennel, and <strong>purple and yellow irises<\/strong>. This trout has two varieties: migratory and resident.
