The British scholar Edward Granville Browne<\/strong> was one of the firsts to introduce Persian literature<\/a><\/strong> to the West. Goethe, who wanted to create a dialogue between Eastern and Western traditions, wrote: \u201cHafez, your song is sweet; your words flow free, You\u2019ve found a friend and kindred soul in me<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
