The two took refuge in the city during the Abbasid persecution of Shia Muslims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tombs became celebrated pilgrimage centres in the 14th century when Queen Tashi Khatun erected a mosque and theological school in the vicinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sh\u0101h-\u00e9-Ch\u00e9r\u0101gh is Persian for \u201cKing of the Light\u201d. The site was given this name due to the nature of the discovery of the site by Ayatullah Dastgh\u0101\u2019ib (the great grandfather of the contemporary Ayatullah Dastgh\u0101\u2019ib). He used to see light from a distance and decided to investigate the source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He found that the light was being emitted by a grave within a graveyard. The grave that emitted the light was excavated, and a body wearing an armor was discovered. The body was wearing a ring saying al-\u2018Izzatu Lill\u0101h, Ahmad bin M\u016bs\u0101, meaning \u201cThe Pride belongs to God, Ahmad son of Musa\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus it became known that this was the burial site of the sons of M\u016bs\u0101 al-K\u0101dhim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sh\u0101h-\u00e9-Ch\u00e9r\u0101gh is Persian for \u201cKing of the Light\u201d.
