How Does Tehran Look Like During Nowruz?
Nowruz the Persian new year eve starts on the very first day of spring on march 21st.
You can see a rare scene in the Iranian capital city of Tehran during Nowruz. With most of Iranians engagement visiting other parts of country, Tehran becomes a great sightseeing attraction both for remain citizens and out-of-town visitors.

City officials make special arrangements before Nowruz to make city nicer and cleaner during the new holidays.
However this is a city that never sleeps even in Nowruz. One of the most attractive festivals is arranged by the municipality of Tehran around the famous Milad tower.
You can enjoy Iranian traditional folk and music for free or go to the tower restaurant and try Iranian local foods. The gardens, monuments and museums will remain open during Nowruz holiday, so you can visit from 9:00am to 7:00pm everyday.

Also the Iran Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization has announced that a unique exhibition entitled ”Tehran, My Ancient City” will be held at the National Museum of Iran.
This exhibition explores the seven thousand years history of Tehran through the recent excavations in the National Museum of Iran.
