After Turkey suspended flights to and from Iran and Afghanistan in late July, Turkey-Iran flights is gradually resuming. Iran is one of the hardest hit countries in the region by the pandemic and recently there used to be a resurgence of the Covid virus. After the government got alarmed and set some restricting rules to curb the rise of the infection and deaths, the statistics show a back to the former situation status.
Hence, Turkey has decided to open its flights to Iran again. Also the Health minister of Iran has announced that all passengers who volunteer to enter Iran are obliged to hold an authorized health certificate confirming they are tested negative for Covid-19. Otherwise, they will not be permitted to enter the country.
Turkey and UAE account the biggest portion of transferring international passengers to and from Iran. After Emirates resumed its flights to Iran lately, it is hoped that we will gradually have no (or little) problem regarding the transportation of the passengers.
