Hiking and Trekking Tour
The Golestan National Park Hiking is one of the most beautiful parks in Iran. Golestan National Park Hiking is a perfect experience for all kind of trekkers: air is pure and colors here are vivid and strong. Green meadows, big ice mass and blue sky are part of the wonderful landscape in the north east corner of Iran.
Today we head to Behshahr in the north of Iran by plane or bus. Our local guide will meet you at the airport or Bus terminal
O/N Miankaleh Peninsula (Local House)
Today we visit Miankaleh peninsula for a cultural visit and half a day birdwatching tour. The Miankaleh Biosphere Reserve is located in the southeastern region of the Caspian Sea. Major habitats include wetlands, inter-tidal mud with sandy shores, shallow marine waters, forests, peat lands and agricultural areas.
Then we go to visit Abbas Abad historical complex (Built during the Persian King Shah Abbas). This place it has been listed since 2011 on the World Heritage List.
O/N – Morvarid Hotel in Behshahr
Today we move to Golestan National Park. On the way to the park we visit Gorgan Old Bazaar in Gorgan, Masjed Jame and Gonbad-e Qabus (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Then move to visiting the west part of the park, called Golbagh, Hiking around the Golestan National Park at Tange Gol Guesthouse (the previous King’s villa), visiting the Mirza Bayloue’s Natural History Museum in the Golestan National Park.
O/N Golestan (Camping)
Moving to the East of the National Park and visiting Alme, Alme Valley, Mirza Bayloue and seeing Deers, Rams, and Ewes, staying in the Solegerd’s police station in the Northeast of the National park that has a great Bivouac shelter at the Solegerd’s police station.
