Patrycja’s Solo Travel in Iran: A Personal Story
A Polish traveler’s personal account of visiting Iran alone in 2015
In October and November 2015, Patrycja traveled through Iran on her own and later shared this short note about the people she met, the food she enjoyed, and her plans to return. Her words below have been lightly edited for grammar and clarity while keeping the tone and meaning of her original account.
I traveled through Iran alone in October and November 2015. It was an amazing experience for me, and I hoped to return the following spring.
I loved the country and the friendly people I met along the way.
And of course, the food was delicious. I kept thinking about Iranian food after I returned to Poland. I tried to learn how to cook some dishes myself, although they never tasted quite the same as they did in Iran.
If you have tips for cooking good Persian dishes, I would be happy to hear them. Best wishes from Poland. — Patrycja
